Yeah, I've seen the list. I've seen about all I can stand to see about this place; got a thing for puzzles.
Doesn't seem to be getting me anything but freaked out, though. All I've learned so far is that things can always get worse. Which I already knew, really, but - you know, Boston worse isn't quite the same as space worse.
[ And now it's verging on not his business to tell, so- ]
Mostly just the ghost. She's had a few friends over, though.
And thanks, I'm glad you think I'm capable. Can't remember if I asked this before, but is everyone used to them where you're from, or are you part of a secret club? More of a secret club where I'm from, for the record.
Not everyone, no. Hunters know all about them of course but I'm not one of those. I work in the acquisition of and selling of occult objects. It pays to know about the supernatural world sometimes.
[A rather long-winded way of saying she was a professional thief for hire.]
So hunters and supernatural antiques dealers? I've never met either of those where I'm from, but I guess it wouldn't surprise me. [ Also, so glad you're not a hunter. ]
Haven't really found anything. Not on the ship anyway.
At the outpost, I found a few things but nothing occult. Anyway, I doubt that there's those kinds of objects on board. If there are, they're very well hidden.
[Oh Josh, you are precious. If Bela wasn't texting, she'd be laughing right about now.]
It's a mixture of the two. Some things are hard to find and you have to dig a little. But I do acquire things from people on my client's request. I do the job I'm paid to do.
text;
I'm alive. Which, in my opinion, is a good thing.
I'm fine.
text;
So, I guess it's been kind of quiet so far this month. Should we start readying the bunkers?
[ Casually not mentioning the elephant in the room. Or the masks, rather. ]
text;
Maybe we should. Can't hurt to be prepared just in case. You and I both know what this ship is capable of.
[Bela would prefer to not discuss the masks even if she had a mixed experience with them.]
text;
Have you seen any of the creepy noise on the network lately?
[ Mostly referring to people vanishing and coming back crazy, but masks also apply. ]
text;
What do you make of it?
text;
Though I guess that assumes this post-modernist asshole is affiliated with the ship.
[ seriously red font what is that pretentious crap ]
text;
Perhaps. You've seen the list of names before, yeah? Some people named there have died.
The red is a little unsightly though.

Isn't that usually what people say about this kind of situation? You're right, yeah but sometimes, a little positivity can go a long way.
Don't even know why I said that. I sound like one of those bloody self help books.
Humour me. How bad can Boston get?
no subject
And don't let the brochures fool you, Boston can get pretty rough. That whole ghost thing was just a preview.

So, things like gang warfare, gun crime? Or are we talking about other supernatural things?
no subject
Can I say supernatural gang warfare?
no subject
What kind of supernatural creatures are we talking about?
no subject
Did you ever say what else your world has?
no subject
Vampires exist. Witches, demons, wendigos, werewolves. The list is extensive.
no subject
Or at least we do as far as I know, but then again I went approximately 20 years of my life knowing absolutely nothing, so I'm not really an expert.
no subject
I understand how you found out about ghosts but what about the others?
no subject
And you'd think I'd know more, considering my choice of roommates. It's more of a learning vertical line than a curve, unfortunately.
no subject
[She won't forget that.]
Another supernatural roommate?

Found anything worth acquiring on the ship yet?

So, when you say acquisition - would that be in the Indiana Jones fashion, or more the acquisition from other people fashion?
[ Only not saying thief to be polite. ]
no subject
