hallucinogens are a real possibility i suppose, but yeah, hopefully can figure something soon before we all start needing a psych eval.

It's a miracle Josh doesn't hang up as soon as he hears Aidan's voice, because really - not in the mood. Even less so after he'd ended up back in his room, finally, plus one creepy mask that proceeded to stare at him mercilessly from its new home on his desk.
He'd actually caved and put it on, but only for a few seconds - Aidan's call was enough to distract him, snap him out of it, make him take the thing off and toss it in the bin. And now he's only half listening to Aidan while eyeing the mask warily, but then there's 'taste' and 'women' in one sentence and that sets off the alarms. ]
